Requirements

High School Diploma /GED or higher-level education.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Basic math skills required.
Ability to read a ruler or tape measure.
Forklift experience preferred.
Shipping and Receiving experience required

Responsibilities

Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying quantities and documentation for accuracy
Prepare, package, and ship outgoing orders in accordance with company and carrier requirements
Operate material-handling equipment safely to move, stage, and store materials
Keep the shipping and receiving area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
Receive, inspect, and document incoming materials, verifying accuracy against shipping paperwork
Package, label, and ship finished products in accordance with company, customer, and carrier requirements
Build custom shipping crates and pallets using air nail guns, air staple guns, saws, and hand tools
Read drawings or specifications and take precise measurements to ensure proper fit and product protection
Cut, assemble, and secure crate materials to prevent damage during transport
Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment
Organize and stage materials to support efficient production and on-time delivery
Identify and report shipping discrepancies, damages, or shortages
Maintain accurate inventory and shipping records using warehouse or ERP systems
Coordinate with production and logistics teams to meet shipping deadlines
Follow all safety, quality, and OSHA standards to maintain a clean and organized work area
Perform all other related duties as assigned
