About The Position

Primex Plastics Corporation, an international leader in the extruded plastic industry, is currently seeking candidates for our 2nd shift Shipping/Receiving position. This position requires an individual who is self-motivated and disciplined to complete a variety of duties with little direct supervision. This position starts at $19.50/hour plus a $2.00 shift premium. With wage increases at 60 days, 6 months, and 1st anniversary, plus generous quarterly bonuses, you can expect to earn $48,000-$52,000 in your first year. Shipping/Receiving or related Warehouse experience is preferred. Candidates must have the following general abilities/characteristics: Motivated to produce a high volume of work each and every day. Self-starter, able to determine what needs to be done and complete it with minimal supervision. Excellent attention to detail. Comfort level with computers and/or mobile apps. Responsibilities

Create load plans
Load and unload semi trailers using a forklift
Organize finished goods to be shipped at a later time
Operate railcar unloading equipment to transfer materials from railcars to correct silos
Use electronic barcode inventory system to track and update locations of materials and finished goods
Maintain safe working practices as all times.
