Shipping & Receiving Clerk
About The Position
Responsible for the quality and accuracy of work to be done. Work proficiently in a team environment. Deliver product from holding area to appropriate location. Palletize orders and prepare for shipment. Print pick lists at appropriate times as needed. Process orders and create tracking labels and waybills / BOL’s. Enter tracking information in appropriate locations. Add freight costs to pick list. Prepare all necessary shipping labels and documents as required. Determine and call appropriate freight carriers with cooperation and communication from other shipping personnel. With assistance from customer service, research and rectify shipping discrepancies and concerns. Keep track of back-order shipments. Ensure a safe work environment. Assist in training, as required. Assist other team members when needed. Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalency
- Must be able to understand and follow all established safety procedures and guidelines
- Must have reliable transportation to/from the facility
- Must be a team player and have the desire to learn
- Must be able to perform all physical requirements of the position
