Shipping/Receiving Clerk (Part-Time) Position Overview We are looking for an energetic and motivated part-time Shipping and Receiving Clerk to support Buyer and Inventory Coordinator. The ideal candidate will perform with accuracy and attention to detail. Flexibility and an energetic approach with a proactive ‘can-do’ attitude. Ability and willingness to switch focus when the situation requires it are also critical in this position. Scope of work: Track and receive incoming shipments Verify contents against shipping documentation and purchase order Inspect shipment contents for damage Address any discrepancies Prepare outgoing shipments; pack goods and label box(es) Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing goods Communicate with internal departments and vendors, if needed Reconcile shipping costs; including identifying internal charge line Receive shipping invoices from Buyer Resolve discrepancies with Buyer Count inventory Other duties as assigned
