Shipping & Receiving Clerk – Parts Department
About The Position
Fury Motors is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support our Parts Department. This role plays a critical behind-the-scenes role in keeping our Service and Sales teams running efficiently by ensuring parts are received, organized, and distributed accurately and on time. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain active throughout the day
Nice To Haves
- Shipping & receiving or warehouse experience
- Automotive or dealership experience
- Familiarity with DMS systems (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Dealertrack, etc.)
- Basic computer and data entry skills
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming parts shipments against packing slips and purchase orders
- Identify and report shortages, overages, or damaged parts promptly
- Prepare outgoing shipments, returns, and warranty parts
- Stock, label, and organize parts in designated locations
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized receiving and storage area
- Assist with cycle counts and physical inventories
- Distribute parts to service technicians, advisors, and other departments
- Support timely parts flow to minimize service delays
- Coordinate special orders and ensure parts are staged correctly
- Accurately update inventory and shipment records in the dealership management system (DMS)
- Follow Fury Motors policies, OEM guidelines, and safety procedures
