About The Position

The Shipping/Receiving Clerk is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of incoming and outgoing shipments while adhering to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), safety regulations, and all company policies and procedures. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team to maintain the flow of goods in the warehouse.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) equivalent, preferred.
  • 1–2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred.
  • Basic ability to read, write and speak English is required to comply with verbal directions, signs, policies and procedures.
  • Familiarity with shipping software, ERP/WMS systems, and standard documentation.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office, email, data entry).
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Work schedule may vary and could include evenings, weekends, or occasional overtime based on operational needs.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior forklift experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing slips, purchase orders, and invoices.
  • Accurately document received goods and promptly report discrepancies or damages.
  • Prepare, package, and process outgoing shipments according to customer requirements and shipping regulations.
  • Create and maintain shipping records, including bills of lading and shipping labels.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse and dock areas.
  • Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock organization.
  • Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and other departments to resolve shipping or receiving issues.
  • Adhere to cGMP, OSHA safety standards, and all company policies and procedures at all times.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and support a culture of safety and quality.
