They are responsible for ensuring that proper shipping and receiving processes and procedures are implemented safely in the work environment, accurate data capture of goods coming into and leaving the plant, and identifying Finished Goods vs raw materials and their distribution to QA or direct recipients.

Requirements

  • No experience is required in area of responsibility.
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by either ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws. As a condition to this job offer, in order to be employed in this position, you must be able to obtain an U.S. Government export license(s), as required by law.

Responsibilities

  • Generate all shipping documents and maintains all records of bill of ladings, invoices, purchase orders, and all other records as required
  • Match identifying information and counts, weighs or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, pack slips, orders, or other records
  • Accurately input required data into the ERP system after matching physical materials to shipping or receiving documents
  • Understand material handling practices to mitigate risk of loss or damage to fragile or ESD-sensitive components when picking and packing for shipments or receipts
  • Deliver all incoming material that requires inspection to the Quality Department
  • Schedule and coordinate pickups when larger packages are prepared to ship
  • Operate material handling equipment in the movement and storage of materials (pallet jack, fork lift, parts counter, scale)
  • Keep warehouse and shipping & receiving areas clean and organized with a focus on safety & quality
