About The Position

As a Shipping & Receiving Cleark in the Stuart team, you will be involved in in transferring jobs from quality control to shipping area for preparation to ship, boxing, palletizing, and wrapping. You will also support functions of receiving incoming shipments and pulling parts for job orders for production.

Responsibilities

• Transfer jobs from quality control to shipping area for preparation, boxing, palletizing, and wrapping per company standards
• Operate sit down and stand up forklift
• Must ensure the Job Order is complete with all items on Job Order completed and marked by Quality Control Associate. Ensure no order is shipped incomplete
• Create packing slips, bills of lading, figure freight charges, and select common carrier, UPS, FedEx, LTLs etc. on computer
• Communicate with LTL carriers, making selection of carrier and communicating with carrier for timely pickups
• Process and post shipments per shipping procedures
• Packing material used includes shrink wrap, seal foam, bubble wrap machine, paper machine
• Load shipments onto trucks, via forklift, and ensure that all items match the customer’s order
• Assist with pulling parts for job orders as instructed daily for production floor
• Support receiving of incoming materials, cross check to packing slip and put away
• Assist with inventory counts
• Maintain organized, clean and safe work area
