GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: Loads, unloads, inspects and completes paperwork for all material coming into and out of the plant.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED Required.
- Attention to detail and basic computer skills required.
Nice To Haves
- Prefer 1-year relevant experience.
Responsibilities
- Shipping and receiving of all incoming and outgoing materials.
- Operate a fork truck to pull and stage outgoing material.
- Complete final inspection of all outgoing material to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Load outgoing material for transport.
- Communicate with both LTL and truckload carriers.
- Be able to drive spotter truck to support the movement of trailers.
- Complete shipping paperwork, forms, checklists, audits, and other paperwork as required.
- Participate in annual audit inventory of finished goods.
- Perform housekeeping duties necessary to insure a clean department.
- Responsible for working in a safe and efficient manner. Maintains a safe workplace by anticipating, recognizing and reporting any potential workplace hazards, by attending required safety training and by adhering to all safety rules and regulations.
