About The Position

At Sunbelt Stud Welding Inc., a local business with over 40 years in the Stud Welding industry, we pride ourselves on doing great work and supporting our customers with dependable service and quality products. We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our Houston team. This role offers hands-on work, a close-knit team environment, and room for growth, starting as part-time (20 hours per week) with the potential to transition into a full-time, long-term position. We value a healthy work-life balance and believe in the importance of our team members both on and off the job.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
2–3 years of experience in shipping/receiving, warehouse operations, or a related field
Comfortable using inventory systems and basic Microsoft Office tools
Strong attention to detail with a dependable work ethic
Good communication skills and a team-first attitude
Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical work as required

Nice To Haves

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred

Responsibilities

Preparing and packaging orders for shipment with care and accuracy
Receiving incoming deliveries and checking items for accuracy and damage
Keeping shipping and receiving records organized and up to date
Coordinating pickups and deliveries with shipping providers
Helping maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area
Assisting with inventory counts and restocking packaging supplies
Working alongside the team to keep daily operations running smoothly
