Position The Shipping/Receiving Associate performs duties related to receiving and shipping of equipment, materials and supplies which will include radioactive and hazardous materials.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and minimum two (2) years of shipping and receiving experience in inventory control, cycle counting, and work order kitting; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in Warehouse shipping and receiving in GMP environment, International Shipping preferred
  • Must pass hazardous material/DOT course within the first 90 days

  • Each successful applicant will be required to complete the Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification, demonstrating both identity and employment authorization, on or before the first day of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, unpack, count and movement of incoming materials, equipment and supplies in accordance with company procedures.
  • Enter receipts, customer order shipments, and other inventory transactions into ERP system to support all NorthStar facilities.
  • Process returned material from customers using company ERP system and working with Customer Care to resolve any discrepancies. Returns may include handling of radioactive and hazardous materials.
  • Perform cycle counts of finished goods in tandem with material handler team as requested.
  • Pick, pack and shipment of supplies via work orders using GDP guidance.
  • Package, label and create shipment documentation as required to meet demand requirements.
  • Movement of materials, equipment and supplies between warehouses.
  • Pick up and use of company or rental trucks to pick up and deliver between NorthStar facilities.
  • Use Fork Truck as required, upon completion of in house forklift certification program.
  • Perform ID only receipt inspection while following associated standard operating procedures.
