Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in shipping and receiving a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual English/Spanish desired.
  • Proficiency with digital printing equipment and related software.
  • Relevant experience in operating and maintaining printing equipment, managing print jobs, and working with print files.
  • Prior Management or Lead experience.

Responsibilities

  • Receives incoming materials including but not limited to: donated goods, new products and supplies.
  • Counts items received and checks against packing lists and notes any discrepancies.
  • Accepts incoming material properly in the computer inventory management system.
  • Organize and store in an efficient manner all material coming into the warehouse in accordance with established procedures.
  • Organize the warehouse area as best as possible. If problems arise, promptly notify the appropriate individual responsible for resolution.
  • Monitor and direct the movement of materials to ensure that all internal, external customer needs are met. Coordinate movement and receipt of inventory between the stores and HQ.
  • Coordinate and ship inventory to the stores as requested, ensure all shipments are properly documented and perform necessary transactions on the computer system to keep accurate site by site inventory quantities.
  • Reconcile receipt and maintain audit trail of salvage inventory pallets from Target delivered to stores and HQ.
  • Maintain log of movement of salvage inventory pallets between HQ and Stores.
  • Daily fulfillment of orders via internal transportation department, UPS, FedEx, LTL and other modes of transportation when applicable
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of orders for fulfillment.
  • Track of inventory using the automated system.
  • Investigates and communicates the root cause of any inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts using computer system.
  • Create new product inventory as requested by retail.
  • Ability to work with management and individuals as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of or ability to learn how to drive forklifts and unload trucks.
  • Ensure safe work practices are followed.
  • Operate and maintain printing equipment such as digital printers, copiers, binders, laminators, and other finishing machines.
  • Review job orders and specifications to ensure accuracy before printing.
  • Prepare files for print, including layout adjustments, color corrections, and proofing.
  • Monitor print runs to ensure quality, color consistency, and alignment with client or department requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment issues and coordinate maintenance when needed.
  • Maintain inventory of printing supplies (paper, ink, toner, binding materials, etc.) and order replacements as necessary.
  • Ensure proper setup, calibration, and maintenance of equipment to meet production standards.
  • Collaborate with internal departments or external clients to clarify project specifications, deadlines, and expectations.
  • Perform finishing tasks such as cutting, binding, folding, laminating, and packaging completed print jobs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
  • Track job progress, maintain logs, and prepare reports on printing production and usage.
  • Assist in developing and implementing printing process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
