Requirements

High School diploma or GED preferred.
Must be Drug & Alcohol Free-We are a Drug & Alcohol-Free Facility
Authorized to work in the U.S.
Must be fluent in English or Spanish.
Proactive and a sense of urgency
Communicates effectively
Reliable and thorough
Positive “can do” attitude
Must be sure-footed and able to climb on irregular surfaces
Must be able to occasionally move up to 50 pounds
Must wear Safety Attire at all times: Steel Toe or Composite Shoes, Safety Glasses, and Uniform shirts.

Nice To Haves

Rough carpentry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Checks with Shipping Forklift Operator for loads that are completed and ready for banding.
Must be able to climb up to 4 feet to properly secure banding
Group truss bundles together by banding smaller bundles to larger ones.
Ensures that drivers can secure the entire load of bundles to the trailer with straps.
Must be capable of working without direct supervision and using good judgment in making responsible decisions.
Occasionally, after the finished product has been loaded onto the truck, it will be necessary for the Packagers to further secure bundles that the straps cannot secure.
Remove debris from the yard as needed
Once a week inspect the yard for cleanliness
Other duties may be assigned.
