Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED or 1 year of relevant experience
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and excellent follow up skills.
  • Ability to read and understand SOP and job packets

Responsibilities

  • Packs ware for multiple injection molding machines using written work instructions, visual management, and computer interface.
  • Conducts quality inspections using specific written and visual guidelines.
  • Monitors operations of injection molding machine to detect minor machine malfunctions.
  • Ensures all tasks are completed in accordance with Amcor Rigid Plastics safety requirements
  • Scans and consumes production tickets using computer interface.
  • Accurately completes all logs, data input and written, to include hourly checks and downtime.
  • Removes any damaged material from machine.
  • Assembles gaylord boxes to be used for storage and transport of finished product.
  • Effectively communicates with all internal departments.
  • Maintains a clean work area and performs general housekeeping duties.
  • Responsible for following Good Manufacturing Practices and any other applicable Prerequisite Programs associated with the Food Safety System.
  • Understand and follow EHS policy and requirements specified in applicable EHS documents.
  • Know where applicable system documents are located.
  • Report actual and potential EHS incidents and emergencies to managers or supervisors.
  • Communicate system non-conformances to managers or supervisors.
