About The Position

Operate electric forklifts to side load flatbed trucks and occasionally dry
vans. Utilize plant wide inventory system. Maintain warehouse organization,
cleanliness, and inventory by completing cycle counts and following the Carlisle
Operating System. Employee may be asked to fill in on other jobs in plant as
required.

Requirements

• Knowledge and experience of PIT operations.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes.
• Experience in shipping and inventory management.
• Able to visually identify quality defects.
• Able to visually identify trailer defects.
• Experience with safety policies and practices.

Responsibilities

• Daily inspections and operation of electric, sit down, forklift.
• Pick and stage orders.
• Load material onto flatbed and occasionally dry van trailers.
• Learn to complete unique and partial orders per customer request.
• Inspect material for quality defects.
• Ensure proper order fulfillment and accuracy.
• Complete all paperwork associated with order.
• Follow radio procedure for plantwide communication and safety.
• Report and replace product that does not meet Carlisle standards.
• Perform inventory counts and watch warehouse for misplaced items.
• Potentially assist in training of new team members.
• Possibility of being asked to train with other departments to assist in time of need.
• Follow and utilize the Carlisle Operating System containing 5S, continuous improvement, waste reduction, standard work, and problem solving.
