Our Team is Kind of a Big Deal! UniFirst is seeking a reliable and hardworking Shipping Loader/Unloader to join our UniFirst Family. As a Production Team Partner in the Shipping Department, you will be completing all order fulfillment and supporting freight management. At UniFirst we have a 5-day work week, enjoy Saturday and Sunday off!! We have an immediate opening and provide on the job training. Requirements

  • High school and or GED equivalent is preferred.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Shipping experience is highly preferred.
  • Forklift certification is preferred.
  • Excellent in multi-tasking and organization.
  • Knowledgeable in basic computer literacy.
  • Open to training opportunities.
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Pull orders to meet shipping deadlines and goals.
  • Organize and store all finished mats from the Production floor.
  • Unload, verify, store, and organize freight on trucks.
  • Implement a 2-step verification process of all shipments.
  • Complete shipping orders by ensuring all shipments having packing slips and BOL’s are correct.
  • Maintain accurate record keeping of all outbound shipments.
  • Maintain housekeeping and safety standards in warehouse and dock area.
  • Stock finished goods and inventory on a weekly basis.
  • Organize stored products to increase efficiency through a streamlined process.
  • Communicate and assist other plant areas as needed.
  • Ensure safety/maintenance checks for all operating equipment.
  • Act as an interface between UniFirst and outside carriers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
