Role and Responsibilities Lead day-to-day operations within the shipping department, including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment Coordinate daily schedules and priorities to maintain steady workflow and ensure on-time deliveries Supervise, train and schedule team members Ensure compliance with safety regulations (e.g. OSHA) and company policies Monitor performance metrics and improve workflow efficiency Meet or exceed the customer’s expectations Participate in a wide variety of other projects and tasks as assigned or requested Qualifications 3 to 5+ years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, production or distribution environment. Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role Strong ability to motivate teams and drive performance Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written and communication skills in the English language Experience with WMS software and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) Forklift operator certification or experience with material handling equipment, preferred. Communicate clearly with outside shipping vendors: UPS, FedEx, Spee-Dee, Dayton Freight, etc. Ability to troubleshoot operational issues and manage time-sensitive, high-pressure situations Role requires standing, lifting, walking, sitting, bending, pulling, and reaching throughout shift as needed Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Follow all directives of the Shipping Manager
