SUMMARY Lead assigned workers in the receipt and shipment of high-quality dairy products by coordinating the daily work assignments. Be actively engaged in the selection, staging, rotation, loading and shipment of all company products. Continually and consistently in force GMP and housekeeping policies. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and at least 1 year of related experience. Actively enforce safety rules and company policies by leading by example. Plan and organize available resources (employee, materials, time, and equipment) to best meet load out, quality, and safety goals. Monitor and adapt plans throughout the shift as needed. Lead daily shift meetings. Effectively communicate and coordinate product/resource availability with production department. Actively engage in waste reduction efforts in all areas. Monitor and record necessary waste tracking documentation. Lead continuous improvement efforts as assigned. Responsible for maintaining high sanitation standards. Ensure all required process control documentation is completed. Oversee incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy and condition of shipments. Train new employees in job duties. Required to cover various positions and shifts in department when needed. Promote retention and provide a workplace culture that is clean, organized, positive, safe and that supports the mission, vision, guiding principles, and values of the organization. BASIC REQUIREMENTS High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED). At least 1 year of related experience.
