About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Label Data Entry Clerk to support daily outbound shipping operations. In this role, you will create and verify shipping labels, confirm shipment details, and maintain accurate records in our shipping/ERP systems to help ensure on-time delivery for customers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year experience in data entry, shipping admin, or logistics support preferred
• Familiarity with shipping carriers (FedEx/UPS/USPS/LTL) is a plus
• Strong typing and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Create shipping labels using carrier portals and internal shipping tools
• Enter and verify shipment details (weight, dimensions, addresses, service level)
• Match orders to packing slips and confirm quantities/part numbers
• Update shipment status, tracking numbers, and delivery notes in the system
• Review exceptions (address issues, duplicates, invalid ZIP codes) and correct errors
• Maintain digital shipping documentation and organize records
• Communicate issues to shipping, customer service, or dispatch teams
• Follow SOPs for data accuracy, confidentiality, and record retention
