About The Position

Summary: Manages all company pickups and deliveries in provided vehicle by performing the following duties. Responsibilities Duties and Responsibilities Utilizes forklift to load, unload, move, and stack materials in a safe manner. Ensures load in vehicle is secure. Prioritizes daily schedule utilizing the best route with the most efficient company provided vehicle. Understands packaging standards to ensure safe transit of product. Obtains proof of delivery. Communicates with other departments regarding special shipping needs, quantity discrepancies or concerns of safe transit. Verifies and compares manifest to actual box count and ensuring correct delivery location. Recognizes damaged material and relay information to the quality department. Collects provided payment for goods and services. Picks up supplies. Requests maintenance on company fleet while maintaining safety check sheet. Ensures all receipts for purchases are delivered to the accounting department. Assists other areas of the department during down time. Assists with the internal transportation of product. Navigates a fast paced environment with extreme accuracy and attention to detail. Responsible for the quality of their work and implementation of the quality policy. Ensures that document and digital data control is in compliance with AS9100 guidelines. Authorizes to stop any production order for quality concerns.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical
  • Forklift certification
