About The Position

TrueNorth Steel is hiring for a Shipping Coordinator position in Huron, SD. The role involves coordinating internal transfer orders and the delivery of products to customers, working closely with the site operations team. The ideal candidate will have experience with scheduling and communicating with trucking companies for pickups and deliveries, managing shipping transactions in an ERP system, and possess excellent organizational and detail-oriented skills. Requirements

• Knowledge and experience with scheduling and communicating with trucking companies for pickup or deliveries.
• Experience with shipping transactions in an ERP system.
• Excellent organization skills.
• Detail-orientated.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Show initiative.
• Knowledge of product use and operation.
• Ability to read shop floor documents.
• Ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her actions.
• Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow all company safety and quality requirements.
• Scheduling and communicating with trucking company for pickup/deliveries.
• Providing materials department pick slips for product loading.
• Shipping transactions for the product in the ERP system.
• Providing accurate packing slips and BOL for the trucking company.
• Reporting of any material quality concerns.
• Willing to work flexible hours and overtime or weekends as needed.
• Prompt and dependable attendance.
• Other duties as assigned.
