About The Position

Coordinating and monitoring daily warehouse objectives, managing inventory counts, implementation and creation of warehouse procedures, and monitoring and communicating the shipping and receiving schedule in the Warehouse department. Responsible for work order transaction review, inventory consumption accuracy, and bill of material accuracy.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of progressive more responsibility working in logistics, warehouse, production
  • Working competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to learn to complete data entry in an ERP software system.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • High school diploma or GED. Post-secondary education is desirable but not required.
  • Valid Motor Vehicle Driver’s License and valid forklift drivers’ certificate or ability to acquire.
  • Physical ability to perform the work, including ability to lift 75 pounds.
  • Team player.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews production and Shipping schedules and other online data sources and dashboards relating to manufacturing production.
  • Analyzes which products are due for shipment, viewing ahead on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
  • Coordinates daily activities of all material handling, stock pull, and receiving personnel.
  • Coordination with scheduling, production, and shipping to maintain on-time service levels for our customers.
  • Create, deploy, and sustain procedures necessary to avoid lost product, mixed product, and shipping damage
  • Manage the cycle counting process to ensure accuracy of finished goods, raw material and supply inventory.
  • Operates forklift truck and other hand transport pieces of equipment.
  • Coordinates the receiving, storing, packing, and shipping of merchandise or materials.
  • Assist and lead powered industrial truck training.
  • Reconciles inventory transactions daily.
  • Facilitates all cycle counting Finished goods and roll stock.
  • Reconciles discrepancies and determines the root causes.
  • Make inventory adjustments upon approval by established hierarchy.
  • Records and tracks inventory accuracy for weekly KPI reporting.
  • Plays a major role in assisting the facilitation of all physical inventories.
  • Researching all inventory discrepancies ensures accurate and thorough inventory management and records.
  • Supports in preparations of production reports.
  • Holds responsibility for inventory, and reconciliation reports and adjustments.
  • Reports any safety problems or unsafe practices to the Department Manager or Shift Supervisor.
  • Responsible for following all work rules, policies, and procedures as outlined in the company Handbook.
  • Responsible for following all plant and corporate safety rules.
  • Fills in for all shipping/receiving coordinator duties as necessary.
  • Coordinates and trains warehouse personnel in ERP tasks.
