About The Position

AMSOIL is currently seeking a Shipping Coordinator. The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for managing all aspects of shipping and receiving including scheduling shipments, preparing documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies, and coordinating with carriers and internal teams to guarantee timely and accurate deliveries. Examples of Work Performed / Essential Functions: Support shipping activities to achieve on time delivery. Schedule LTL, FTL, small package, and third party build orders. Answer questions about shipment tracking.Provide documents to customers upon request.Schedule pick up of empty drums and totes.Schedule pick up of return products.Answer shipping related questions from sales and customer service. Scheule expedited deliveries. Verify when items ship. Troubleshoot shipping inaccuracies (shipped to wrong customer, order entered incorrectly, etc.).

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least two years of related experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse.
• Familiarity with shipping software or warehouse management software
• Forklift certification (training received on the job).
• Basic computer skills including experience with ERP system.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Problem solving/analysis skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work in fast paced environment.
• Able to prioritize work and meet deadlines.

Nice To Haves

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Logistics is preferred.
