About The Position

INDEVCO North America is an expanding company hiring for an entry-level position with growth potential. The position will be based at our Doswell, VA location. In line with ‘Our Common Good’ strategy, we produce energy-efficient building envelope products and sustainable packaging materials from paper, paperboard, and plastics, then recycle these materials for reuse or regeneration into new products. All the while ensuring that People Come First, whether employees, customers, or members of the communities in which we operate. We are seeking a Shipping Coordinator for our Logistics Department that will support the movement of goods in and out of a multi-shift multi-plant operation. This position will help manage paperwork related to the flow of goods to keep production running smoothly and to keep material movement as efficient as possible. This position schedule will be 3pm - 11pm Monday - Friday.

Requirements

  • Experience in manufacturing operations, including overseeing production, quality control, and/or supply chain management
  • Excellent team-building skills as this position will closely collaborate with and support several interrelated departments
  • Proven shipping and receiving leadership experience in a manufacturing, distribution or logistics environment
  • Aptitude for logistics including advanced knowledge working with Microsoft Word and Excel, and using ERP systems
  • Strong attention to detail, critical thinking skills and leadership skills with ability to manage multiple projects and tasks
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to be self-motivated and able to work within a fast paced team environment

Responsibilities

  • Accurately execute shipping and receiving documents in the computer system, including tally sheets, bill of ladings, receiving manifest, etc.
  • Communicate effectively with customer service and manufacturing plant
  • Maintain freight quotes file for all shipments
  • Print off schedules and give to appropriate material handlers
  • Complete freight chart for orders for orders that were shipped the previous day
  • Perform a walk through for completed orders staged on the floor that need to be printed
  • Process orders in AX and Freightview
  • Provide Material Handlers line schedules for JennerJohn and Maflex
  • Complete customs paperwork as needed for shipments
  • Assist with monthly inventory counts
  • Tag orders for shipping LT once paperwork is completed
  • Correspond with Dupont and Franklin National regarding shipments
  • Perform other duties as assigned
