About The Position

The Shipping Coordinator I - 2nd Shift assists with the Division's daily shipping tasks including creating shipment records and record keeping. This position will serve our Water Heater Division, located in Litchfield, AZ.

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent
Knowledge of a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of Material handling systems and/or transportation.
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as MS Office Suite and Finished Goods Management System.
Demonstrates ability to work well with others in a matrix team environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Able to prioritize and deal with numerous interruptions.

Nice To Haves

2 years of experience in a distribution, manufacturing or similar environment.
Equivalent combination of education, experience, and skills may supplement above minimum job requirements.

Responsibilities

Records and logs, audits for accuracy, distributes, release after pickup, and file Finished Goods Bill of Lading.
Creates, distributes, confirms receipt, and file on record export papers.
Creates, audits for accuracy, and distributes MSO (Miscellaneous Shipping Order) for all materials functions including Finished Goods and Raw Materials.
Notifies carriers of freight pickups as necessary.
Creates bills of lading for direct shipments for other Division locations as needed.
Directs communication with third-party warehouse including notification of pickups and confirmation of receipts.
Maintains accurate and detailed records of shipments to Rheem satellite plants and distribution centers.
Performs other duties as assigned.
