We are looking for a Shipping Clerk at our Orangeburg, NY facility. This role is responsible for preparing, processing, and shipping customer orders accurately and efficiently. This role ensures orders are complete and shipped on time using shipping software and ERP system while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and organization, including both domestic and international shipments. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1–2 years of shipping or general warehouse experience preferred
• Basic computer proficiency: prior experience with ERP systems preferred
• Prior experience working with UPS or FedEx shipping systems preferred
• Ability to read and write in English
• Ability to stand for long periods, bend, kneel, squat, and lift heavy or awkward items up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Package, label, and prepare products for shipment
• Verify order detail against travel ticket
• Prepare and process domestic and international shipments
• Complete required international shipping documentation, including commercial invoice and customs paperwork
• Process shipments in the ERP system and generate shipping documentation
• Verify outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications
• Ensure customer orders are fulfilled and shipped correctly
• Consolidate and organize shipping orders for efficient dispatch
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Assist with inventory control and cycle counts as needed
• Operate pallet jacks, conveyors, or sorting bins to deliver or route materials to departments (if trained and certified)
• Meets attendance expectations as outlined in the employee handbook
• Perform other duties as assigned by Manager or Lead
