About The Position

Allied Printing Services, Inc. is searching for a Shipping Clerk is responsible for preparing, organizing, and coordinating all outbound shipments to ensure accuracy, quality, and timely delivery. This position will work with multi departments to include pressroom, bindery, mailing, finishing, large format, and production teams to safely move printed materials through the final stages of production and shipment. Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Prior shipping experience, preferably in printing or manufacturing.
3–4 years of hands-on shipping or warehouse experience.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

Locate, package, label, and transport materials between departments to support production flow.
Prepare outgoing shipments in accordance with company standards and carrier requirements.
Verify shipment accuracy using packing lists and shipping systems, document all outbound activity.
Inspect finished products for quality prior to shipment and safeguard materials during transit.
Schedule carrier pickups and communicate shipping details with internal teams.
Operate forklifts and pallet trucks safely to move materials and finished goods.
Maintain a clean, safe work environment and demonstrate consistent, reliable attendance.
Review production and shipping processes and recommend improvements as needed.
