About The Position

This position at Uponor (GF Building Flow Solutions) involves performing internal transfers and shipping of all released product between Apple Valley locations and to the Lakeville Distribution Center. It also includes receiving raw materials, packaging materials, and maintenance parts, and delivering them to correct storage locations. All receiving transactions are processed through High Jump (Warehouse Management System). The role also controls building access via the Receiving Department, monitors property with cameras, and enforces security. Additionally, the position coordinates various recycling pickups and communicates with all departments. This full-time night shift role offers a $3000 welcome bonus, a 4x4 shift structure (12-hour shifts from 6pm-6am), and a base pay of $20.50-$27.22/hr plus a $2.00/hr shift differential. No manufacturing experience is required.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent is required.
• Good math skills are required, including familiarity with the metric system.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Basic mechanical and technical skills are required.
• Must be able to problem solve, multitask/prioritize and pay attention to detail.
• Must be able to work a 12-hour shift.

Nice To Haves

• Warehouse/Manufacturing/Forklift experience of 1-3 years is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform internal transfers/shipping of all released product between Apple Valley locations and to the Lakeville Distribution Center.
• Receive raw materials, packaging materials and maintenance parts and pieces, delivering them to the correct storage locations.
• Perform all receiving transactions through High Jump (Warehouse Management System).
• Control the access point to the building through the Receiving Department.
• Transfer all released and non-released product, which includes coiled pipe, reels of pipe, straight lengths, packaging supplies and raw materials to the Distribution Center using Warehouse Management Scan Tools and creating appropriate shipping documents.
• Physically load all product with a forklift and or an electric pallet jack to dedicated transfer trailers after all product has been verified for accuracy.
• Inspect, verify quantities of all incoming packages and receive all Raw Materials, Packaging Supplies, Equipment, Maintenance Supplies from Vendors and the Distribution Center in Lakeville for both M1 and M2 organizations.
• Electronically receive everything into Oracle.
• Deliver all of these to the identified locations.
• Monitor the property via Cameras.
• Enforce building security.
• Coordinate all Recycling Pick-ups by contacting the specific companies when pickups are needed. This includes all PEX Recycling, Pallet Recycling, Metal Recycling, as well as all industrial waste.
• Communicate with all departments.
