Shipping Clerk (Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials)
About The Position
Provide daily operational support to the Logistics department to ensure the timely execution of shipping activities. Responsible for the accurate packaging, documentation, and shipment of all products from the factory to suppliers and customers while meeting quality, safety, and delivery requirements. Promote and uphold KAITEKI values by fostering a positive and collaborative work environment that supports a stable, growing, and continuously improving workforce. Maintain a safe workplace by adhering to safety procedures, supporting efficient production and shipping processes, minimizing downtime, and ensuring a clean and organized work area.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Requires great attention to detail and the ability to read paperwork and specifications.
Nice To Haves
- Data Entry experience, preferred
Responsibilities
- Common Carrier oversees shipments
- Package clean parts in appropriate packaging per specifications as needed
- Create and apply labels as required
- Package parts into shipping containers using appropriate packaging
- Ensure quantities and paperwork are correct
- Review and ensure paperwork is complete and accurate
- Prepare shipping documentation using our computer systems
- Maintain appropriate levels of all shipping supplies
- Keep work area clean and organized at all times
- Abide by and support all safety and quality system requirements
- Provide good feedback and promote good communication
- Other duties as required
