We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer I to support automation, process improvement, and production efficiency initiatives at our Libertyville facility. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field OR Associate degree in a manufacturing-related field with relevant experience
• 0–3 years of mechanical design or manufacturing experience
• Working knowledge of SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software
• Understanding of engineering fundamentals and ability to apply them in a manufacturing setting
• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to prioritize projects and drive work to completion
• Experience working collaboratively in team environments

Nice To Haves

• Exposure to FEA, CFD, or CAE tools
• Familiarity with drawings, specifications, and dimensional tolerances

Responsibilities

• Support daily production operations and troubleshoot process challenges
• Assist with automation design, development, and implementation
• Develop and refine manufacturing processes to improve safety, quality, and efficiency
• Create technical drawings and support reverse engineering projects
• Identify improvement opportunities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Write clear work instructions to transfer processes from Engineering to Production
• Partner with cross-functional teams and external suppliers on product and process development
