Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Shipping Clerk. Hours: Monday through Friday 8am until 5pm.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of warehouse experience
  • Working knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
  • General computer skills for basic data entry
  • Quick and accurate number recognition

Nice To Haves

  • experience with Heat numbers, MTR software and COC's preferred
  • Prior forklift experience preferred
  • A Material Handling Equipment Certification is preferred
  • WMS/BWO experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Pull and prepare orders for shipment
  • Receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material
  • Audit picked orders
  • Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs
