About The Position

The Shipping Clerk controls and tracks the shipment of all materials, supplies, and customer spare parts & equipment. Collaborates and communicates with other shipping clerks, customer service representatives, and others involved in the shipment of products. Shipper also inspects outgoing aircraft parts and materials against customer-requested documentation. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.

Requirements

Understands Electrostatic Discharge handling and shipping procedures.
Understands Shelf and Service Life product dates.
Understands and abides by Hazardous Material Shipping regulations must be hazmat certified.
Understands and complies with applicable domestic and international shipping restrictions.
Available for after hours AOG duty as scheduled.
Flexible with start/finish times as directed by Shipping Lead or Manager.

Responsibilities

Inspects, packs, labels and weighs the materials for shipment attaching appropriate transport vendor and/or customs paperwork.
Understands Electrostatic Discharge handling and shipping procedures.
Understands Shelf and Service Life product dates.
Understands and abides by Hazardous Material Shipping regulations must be hazmat certified.
Schedule any pickup that is necessary, ie, Fedex, APS, LTC or AirFrieght
Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
Understands and complies with applicable domestic and international shipping restrictions.
Available for after hours AOG duty as scheduled.
Willingness to cross train in other functional areas as directed.
Flexible with start/finish times as directed by Shipping Lead or Manager.
