Shipping Clerk
About The Position
Description Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship) Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store) Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits Maintain a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization Keep and maintain accurate diary logs of inventory Perform quality control and report any discrepancies Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations
Requirements
- You have proven working experience as a shipping clerk
- In addition to proficiency with inventory software, databases, and systems, you are familiar with modern warehousing practices and methods
- You are an excellent communicator who can cooperate with, support, and mentor team members – we want everyone on our team to grow!
- You are an organized employee with great time management skills
- You are able to lift heavy objects (up to 25 lbs.) with and without assistance
