About The Position

Provides support in shipping/receiving, warehouse, and material handling to meet
the requirements of our customers, internal and external. Maintains a continuous
flow of product, resolves issues quickly and according to policy. Maintains a
safe work environment, 5S, and supports continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Related job experience preferred
• Self-starter, conscientious, enthusiastic with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, in a continuously improving environment.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to pay close attention to minor details resulting in the production of a superior quality product

Responsibilities

• Maintain Environmental, Health and Safety standards in the workplace.
• Operate powered industrial trucks.
• Compare identifying information of counts and weights for incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bill of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
• Properly load product onto trucks.
• Receives and routes incoming material to its proper location in the plant.
• Reviews inventory of product.
• Assemble wooden or cardboard packing materials.
• Properly pack cardboard boxes or wooden crates
• Other duties as assigned
