About The Position

The Shipping Associate plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of outgoing shipments within the organization. This position is responsible for preparing, packaging, and labeling products for shipment while maintaining compliance with company standards and shipping regulations. The Shipping Associate collaborates closely with warehouse and inventory teams to verify order accuracy and manage timely dispatch. Attention to detail and organizational skills are essential to minimize errors and support customer satisfaction through reliable delivery. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Basic computer skills to operate shipping software and track orders.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a shipping, warehouse, or logistics role.
• Familiarity with shipping carriers and their procedures (e.g., UPS, FedEx, USPS).
• Forklift certification or experience operating warehouse equipment.
• Knowledge of inventory management systems.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and carriers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and package products securely for shipment according to company guidelines.
• Label shipments accurately with appropriate documentation and shipping information.
• Verify order contents against packing lists to ensure accuracy before dispatch.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to manage inventory and resolve discrepancies.
• Operate shipping equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor belts safely.
• Schedule and communicate with carriers to arrange timely pickups and deliveries.
• Maintain a clean and organized shipping area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Document and report any damaged or missing items during the shipping process.
