About The Position

The Shipping Associate is responsible for selecting product to fulfill customer invoices and packing the product for shipment. Works under general supervision, interacting with a Manager or Supervisor several times a day to receive guidance and feedback.

  • Must be able to Read, Write and Speak English
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with cell phone repair a plus.
  • Previous receiving experience working in a distribution, manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.
  • Previous work experience with Mannapov preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble required boxes, cardboard, wooden, or plastic containers for outgoing shipments
  • Examine shipment contents and compare with records (packslip, invoices etc.) to verify accuracy and quality of shipments.
  • Ability to pull and fulfill customer invoices, scan devices on shipping station, and download Inventory Management System reports to check data.
  • Properly package product to fulfill customer satisfaction using work devices such as electronic scanners, hand tools, accurately label boxes.
  • Completes Lithium-Ion Certification Courses: Lithium Battery Safety and Shipping Lithium Battery
  • Comprehend and adhere to all Mannapov shipping policies and procedures including, US DOT, FAA, IATA.
  • Comprehends and packages/labels all shipments according to R2 Provision 6 (Tested for Full Functions, R2/Ready for Reuse, Tested for Key Functions, R2/Ready for Resale and/or Evaluated and Non-Functioning, R2/Ready for Repair and shipped correctly; preparation process is followed, and provides feedback for improvement of the process.
  • Communicate any issues to management that could result in process delays, safety issues, or anything else that would cause loss to the company or its associates.
  • Work closely with the other team members to ensure that daily goals are met or exceeded in keeping a steady flow of product moving through the department.
  • Follow all process and safety procedures and always utilize good judgment.
  • Maintain clean and organized work area.
  • Conform to all Mannapov policies and regulations.
  • Continually strive to improve work related skills and knowledge.
  • Perform additional responsibilities in assigned and/or other departments as necessary.
