Requirements
- Experience driving forklift and cherry picker
- HIgh School Diploma or GED
Responsibilities
- Maintains shipping and receiving processes to promote safety, efficiency, and accuracy.
- Maintains appropriate record logs (audits, cycle counts, etc.) as directed by Supervisor.
- Assures accuracy of shipments by following the correct established process for material removal and placement.
- Proficient with established picking/ packing methods.
- Proficient with UPS computer shipping system.
- Loads and unloads trucks and vans with appropriate material handling equipment.
- Maintains equipment in accordance to established procedures.
- Checks incoming freight for accuracy and depositions properly.
- Keeps work area clean and orderly.
- Respond to plant requests from FAB
- Respond to special shipping requirements
- Stock placement / removal
- Pick special orders as required
- Serve as backup to receiving
- Other duties as assigned
