About The Position

The Shipping and Receiving Technician manages the flow of goods, receiving incoming deliveries, preparing outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and organizing warehouse storage. NOTE: This position requires the candidate to be onsite 5x/week. We are only considering local candidates at this time

Requirements

High school diploma/GED required, associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience with SAP preferred
Proficient in MS Office.
Must be detail oriented, highly accurate, conscientious and able to work independently, dynamic and possess strong organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Multitasking and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize.
Positive attitude and willingness to serve our internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

Receiving of inventory, verification of correct items received against purchase order, inspection of inventory for damage or discrepancies.
Picking, packing and shipment of inventory.
Prepare and distribute shipment paperwork as required with adherence to all applicable guidelines.
Communicate with Customer Service and Production as necessary to maintain appropriate inventory levels keeping accurate and updated logs.
Coordinate shipments to and from storage warehouse(s).
Organize and maintain warehouse space(s)
Other duties as assigned
