About The Position

The Shipping and Receiving Technician will be responsible for all functions pertaining to the shipping and receiving of all bulk, packaged finished materials and raw materials into plant 108C & 038C. The work schedule will be Monday - Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. The role involves contributing to the organization and the world, with an emphasis on impact.

Requirements

• 2 yrs Chemical handling experience
• Experienced forklift operator
• Basic Computer skills
• Working knowledge in SAP
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Must become HazMat qualified
• Overtime and weekend work required
• Shift schedule may vary based on customer demand
• Must be self motivated and able to perform daily task with minimal direct supervision
• Lift 50-55 pounds
• Medically qualified to wear respirator

Responsibilities

• Loading/Unloading Tank Trucks
• Loading/Unloading Railcars
• Preparing, staging and shipping customer orders in Warehouse areas
• Processing customer orders per established procedures
• Safety & Housekeeping
• Inventory control functions / Cycle Counts in Warehouse managed areas
• Scheduling/Coordinating carrier pickups
• Writing/Updating SOP’s
• Conducting shipping functions using the SAP system
• Coordinate Rail Car Spotting and outbound car returns
• Operate Yard Tractor
• Operate Railcar Mover
• Performing other tasks as required
