About The Position

LaForce is we’re looking for a Shipping and Receiving Technician to join our
Columbus, OH team and play a key role in ensuring our products are ready to meet
customer needs. This role is a full-time, Monday through Friday position, with
no nights or weekends! You’ll help ensure our operations run smoothly by
receiving, organizing, and preparing hardware, frames and other specialty
products for delivery to the right job.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience in material handling
• Comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds, standing and moving frequently throughout your shift, and operating warehouse equipment safely
• Willingness to learn and adapt, including becoming proficient with LaForce software and computer systems to help streamline operations
• Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check

Responsibilities

• Receive and offload inbound materials (hardware, frames and other items) using forklift and pallet jack
• Verify shipments against purchase orders and resolve discrepancies
• Organize and maintain inventory using scanning systems
• Stage, palletize, shrink wrap and prepare outbound orders accurately and on time
• Coordinate load planning, routing, and freight scheduling
• Monitor warehouse capacity and support inventory accuracy initiatives
• Partner with customers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure smooth shipments
• Label and separate hardware based on receiving sheets for specific jobs
• Pull stock for sales orders
• Forklift operation
