About The Position

LaForce, a trusted leader in supplying commercial door frames, doors, and
hardware, is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving
Technician to join our team. This full-time, Monday–Friday position (with no
nights or weekends!) offers the opportunity to play a vital role in our
operations by receiving, organizing, and preparing products for timely and
accurate delivery to job sites. If you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience in material handling
• Comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds, standing and moving frequently throughout your shift, and operating warehouse equipment safely.
• Willingness to learn and adapt, including becoming proficient with LaForce software and computer systems to help streamline operations.
• Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders
• Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to company and UPS standards
• Pull, sort, palletize, shrink wrap and load products
• Label and separate hardware based on receiving sheets for specific jobs
• Perform regular cycle counts to help maintain accurate inventory records
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
