About The Position

Eaton's ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Shipping and Receiving Packer. The core hours are 8:30am to 5:00pm. The hourly rate for this position is 22.00 per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Requirements

• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Reno, NV will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation

• Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment including but not limited to steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, hard hat, gloves, etc. as may be required by company policy and procedures
• Exposure to cold and heat according to weather conditions when shipping doors are open

• One (1) + year or more of previous shipping/packing experience

Responsibilities

• Picking/Pulling orders
• Packing orders
• Verifying for correct parts, quantities, finish
• Checking stock
• Replenishing inventory as needed
• Able to use RF scanners accurately and efficiently
• Cutting wood as needed
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems as they arise
• Must be able to work overtime with short notice
