Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• GED or high school diploma
• Forklift Certification

Responsibilities

• Conduct the shipping and receiving processes, ensuring the timely and accurate movement of materials and finished products.
• Operate a forklift to load and unload trucks, move materials within the facility, and ensure the safe and efficient handling of goods. Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular cycle counts, and assist in monitoring stock levels. Communicate any discrepancies to the Shipping Supervisor.
• Prepare shipments, ensuring that products are correctly packaged, labeled, and ready for transportation.
• Inspect products for quality and accuracy, reporting any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor.
• Complete shipping and receiving documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and shipping labels.
• Coordinate with other departments to facilitate the smooth flow of materials and products, ensuring that orders are fulfilled in a timely manner.
• Comply with all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe and secure work environment.
• Communicates any employee concerns or needs to leadership as needed
• Ability to work in excess of 40 hours, as business needs arise
• Regular and reliable attendance
• Any other task or duty that is deemed necessary by management.
