Scope of Work: This position administers all shipping and receiving functions within the plant. This position is also responsible for ensuring an excellent internal and external customer experience. The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator will report to the Supply Chain Manager.

Requirements

  • Forklift Certification Required
  • NTEA 101 and 201 Required (acquire on the job)

Responsibilities

  • Use forklift, pallet jack, or other mode of transport to load, unload, or move materials in the shipping or receiving process.
  • Ensure safe and timely load or unload of trucks to minimize wait time or dock delays.
  • Assign, and maintain, an organized inventory location system that includes sequential locations in ERP.
  • Perform daily/weekly cycle counts as assigned by product code, and report results.
  • Assist with vehicle movements or coordination as needed with Supply Chain teammates.
  • Recommend improvements to sustain accurate inventory counts.
  • Ensure all parts and materials in inventory are tagged accurately with all pertinent detail as required.
  • Ensure process discipline to Standard Operating Procedures within Supply Chain and Order Management Systems.
  • Approach all internal customer requests and scenarios with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
  • Maintain working knowledge of ERP and Scheduling tools.
  • Maintain safe and smart work practices at all times.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
