Job Description CHEP is looking for a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to join our team in Wilmington, MA, to ensure smooth, efficient, and accurate logistics operations. This role is essential for maintaining timely deliveries, managing inventory, and supporting production goals.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in shipping, receiving, and logistics coordination.
  • Proficient in SAP (Logistics module), MS Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Knowledge of yard management processes.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee shipping and receiving operations, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery and receipt of goods while adhering to regulatory and internal policies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all shipments, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and providing transparency in logistics operations.
  • Manage purchase orders to ensure timely processing and fulfilment, maintaining efficient inventory and stock levels.
  • Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and logistics partners to schedule inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring efficient and timely logistics operations.
  • Implement strategies to optimize internal and external logistics operations, reducing travel distances and enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Ensure that all data related to logistics and inventory management is accurately recorded in the system, supporting data-driven decision-making and reporting.
  • Contribute to the plant's production reporting process by providing key logistics insights, supporting performance analysis and the achievement of KPIs.
  • Act as the liaison between plant management and logistics teams, promoting effective communication and ensuring alignment on production and logistics priorities.
