Basic Purpose and Objective: Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, uses the JD Edwards system to input receivers, loads and unloads trucks, retrieves and stores materials in the warehouse, counts and boxes parts, and makes necessary inventory transactions. What You’ll Do Prepares shipment documentation for outgoing parts and finished products. Schedules 3 rd party trucks and coordinates customer pick-ups. Completes shipping transactions in system Coordinate all daily customer shipments per their scheduled ship dates ensuring inventory integrity and accuracy Receive incoming material and process receiving receipts in a timely and accurate basis Helps with cycle count processes and proper inventory management Performs other duties as assigned by leadership Who You Are Must exercise necessary precautions to ensure personal safety and safety of others Work in a team environment Understand and work to the Quality system Must be customer focused Must be able to read, write, basic math skills and strong computer knowledge (i.e. navigate through multiple systems and working knowledge of Excel, Word, Email and other software programs) Must be able to comprehend and follow documented procedures Extensive system knowledge Must be able to coordinate multiple activities simultaneously Must be a certified forklift operator or able to be certified Must have a focus on Quality and accuracy Must be able to work independently and be self-directed with his/her workload
