About The Position

This part-time position, located in Edgerton, WI , will be responsible for scheduling incoming trucks for all deliveries. Control the entry of trucks into the dock doors. Communicate with warehouse personnel to effectively receive all loads. Continually update the warehouse computer system. Work with other office staff to complete daily tasks. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Establishes and maintains effective work relationships within the department, the Company, and the community; and maintains the professional competence, knowledge, and skill necessary for the satisfactory performance of all assigned responsibilities. Collect fees and issue receipts to outside carriers. Coordinate/schedule inbound and outbound loads, including working with returning drivers and notifying management of schedule issues. Communicate with the Receiving team, Warehouse Supervisor, management, customer service, and external partners. Communicates promptly and professionally with both internal teams and external customers. Print purchase orders and receiving labels; prepare special customer labels. Process and manage shipping and receiving paperwork, including purchase orders, proformas, transfers, BOLs, will calls, returns, and delivery notes. Review delivery notes for special instructions and share with the warehouse. Ensure orders ship on time to meet customer delivery requirements. Assist office staff with driver paperwork, credits, and filing as needed. Maintain shipping office organization, housekeeping standards, and compliance with company policies. Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Experience
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
  • The ability to utilize various personal computers, including but not limited to Microsoft Office and database software.
  • Flexible to ever-changing workloads and responsibilities
  • Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
