Shipping and Receiving Clerk
About The Position
Maintains shipping area in a clean and organized manner at all times Ensures key areas of the shipping area and warehouse are designated and labeled to enhance organization Completes a daily review with manager discussing needs for equipment receipt, equipment processing and equipment shipping Ensures all outbound shipments are packed appropriately, shipped timely and meet deadlines for delivery Responsible for accurate inventory of equipment, parts and supplies Uses critical thinking to make cost effective decisions regarding shipping Ensures appropriate paperwork and records are well maintained Attention to detail to ensure accurate billing of shipments Must maintain a neat appearance including the wearing of company uniform Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to perform math calculations
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Ability to maintain a professional attitude toward all customer contacts and Company employees
- Ability to move 150 pounds
