About The Position

Ziemek Dental Laboratory is a full-service dental lab with nearly 30 years of industry experience. Our lab is growing, and we have an immediate opportunity for an entry-level Shipping and Customer Service Representative to join our team in Katy, TX. In this fast-paced role, you will perform clerical duties involved in the shipping of products, assist with invoicing and answer customer questions regarding delivery times, etc.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Ability to distinguish colors, shade/gradation and to pass an eye color test.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
• Computer literacy and ability to learn and use simple technology.
• Ability to work successfully in a team and autonomously.

Nice To Haves

• Prior shipping and/or invoicing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn our products, product codes, and turnaround time for cases.
• Answer and respond to incoming customer calls and helps track down cases.
• Resolve expedited doctor requests.
• Prepare invoice and shipping documents, create mailing labels, package product for shipment and maintain records of outgoing shipments.
• Troubleshoot shipping issues and customer complaints that arise and work to adequately resolve them.
• Quality control shade and defects in materials.
