About The Position

Summary of Responsibilities: The Shipping Administrator is responsible for the accurate and efficient coordination of all orders being shipped from the warehouse.

Requirements

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Ability to complete day-to-day activities in allotted amount of time.
  • Must be detail oriented and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior shipping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Check in truck drivers, match pick up number to order number, and assign the appropriate dock.
  • Create master bill of lading and print shipping, FedEx, UPS labels, and pick tickets.
  • Maintain status of orders on Open Dock, scan and mark orders as shipped once loads are completed.
  • Assign loads to forklift operators and ensure they are loaded within the two-hour timeframe.
  • Communicate with Warehouse Supervisor on shipping related issues and correct shipping errors.
  • Utilize MS Office programs to complete reports and documentation.
  • Complete warehouse floor walks to ensure labeling/loading is being completed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
